(AW) "Ruby, Ruby, Ruby"

Chicken Balti


Decided to try the ultimate food on the ultimate cooking device. So curry on the Egg was the order of the day.

We cooked the balti (courtesy of the The Spicery) in the dutch oven and also cooked home made naans in there too. I have to say, the smokey flavour made this the best curry I have ever tasted, and I have tasted a LOT!.


























What we did


Cooked the home made paste off in the dutch oven on the plate setter (legs down). Then added chilli and cinamon stick. then the chicken, and water. Finally, before letting it cook for about an hour at 400f, we added wet hickory wood to the egg, to smoke that badger! Finally, when it was cooked, we removed the dutch oven, and cooked the naan on the plate setter!
